I have been thinking about becoming a Catholic…
Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands of people are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States.
The local Catholic Church /Community is known as a parish that welcomes these "New Catholics" through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
Step 1 - Period of Evangelization - Prior to beginning the RCIA process the individual comes to some knowledge of Jesus Christ. For some this process involves a long period of searching, while for others a shorter time. Often contact with people of faith and personal faith experiences lead people to ask about the Catholic Church. For starters, you may want to come and meet the community when we gather for Sunday Eucharist at 10:30am. We are a warm and welcoming diverse community that offers a sense of belonging and friendship in the Lord. Our Gospel Masses are steeped in reverence yet relaxed as one family in Christ Jesus. Introduce yourself to our pastor Friar Noel and from there haver a chance to begin the conversation about your call to be a Catholic Christian.
