Confirmation: For seventh graders, high school students, or adults the
Sacrament of Confirmation completes the full initiation of the Christian man or woman. Confirmation celebrates the outpouring of the seven-fold gifts of the Holy Spirit
and the gift of spiritual boldness to witness and live the Faith of the Church as a fully initiated member.
The ordinary minister of this sacrament is the Bishop.
Part of spiritual preparation is a sacramental program that helps one pull together an understanding of the Faith we profess together, which challenges and compells us to be apart of the "New Evangelization" as a disciple of the Gospel to bring Faith to others. One way, is by the way we live and model Christian behavior and the other through sharing and inviting others to explore the Catholic Christian faith that originates from the first Christian foundation~the Jerusalem community.
Ordinarily, the Confirmation Program is a year of preparing spiritually as well as some ministry experience to a life of service in the Church.
