As we turn away from sin and turn towards God, the life of PENANCE helps us seek forgiveness for those sins committed after Baptism.The main vocation of the Christian is conversion of heart and lifestyle to the Lord;
which involves a continuous holiness of life...
On that Easter Sunday eveniing, Jesus gave the apostles and their successors authority
to forgive sin in his name. It is this Easter gift of Christ's peace and reconciliation that we know God's love in spite of our human fraility and propensity to evil,
we can turn back to God over and over again.
